About
I have been an avid photographer since my early teens. Back then, before the digital age, I was printing and developing my own black and white images. Technology has made photography and processing far more accessible. In September 2014, I decided to take my hobby seriously and enrolled on a professional course delivered by the Photography Institute. I figured that it would at least improve my skills and even help establish a second career. I studied and practised hard, received good, constructive feedback and learned a lot from the course. I now look at photography as a means of satisfying my key aims in life; to learn new skills, to explore and capture our fantastic countryside and coast lines and to help raise funds for people in need. So, my work is not intended for personal financial gain. This portfolio represents my learning to date; it's an ongoing journey after that elusive "perfect" image. If you like what you see, or wish to purchase any of my work as prints, please contact me on Facebook or the email link below. Meanwhile, enjoy the show and I hope to hear from you.
